Lindsey & Nick’s Vintage Terracotta Inspired Wedding
Nick and Lindsey’s vintage terracotta inspired wedding was originally planned for May of 2020. However, they ended up postponing their big day until August. Lindsey and her bridesmaids started off their morning in the Farmer Cottage with a champagne pop on the front porch! While Lindsey was getting ready, their photographer captured photos of her beautiful details. Our favorite was the vintage book which Lindsey carved out for her ring to sit in!
Once Nick arrived at the Estate, he and Lindsey had their first look in front of the Red Barn. The photos were truly breathtaking with the windows reflecting the sky! Afterwards they headed out into the meadow with their wedding party for photos before breaking off and exploring the rest of the property for some couples portraits!
Lindsey and Nick’s ceremony was set in front of the grape arbor, overlooking the main house. They used our circular wedding arch and had their florist decorate it with elegant warm-toned florals. Truly stunning! Their ceremony was so special and they even had it live streamed so that Lindsey’s dad, who had just had emergency heart surgery, could watch the wedding from his hospital room. We were so happy that he could still be a part of his daughter’s big day! This was such a testament to Lindsey and Nick’s strength throughout this entire process. They really held it together and were determined to have the best day, no matter what was thrown at them.
For their reception, the Red Barn was decorated immaculately with vintage and elegant décor. The tables were decorated with pages from a French dictionary which Lindsey found and their place cards were made out of broken terracotta pots. It was so creative and trendy! The terracotta theme could also be seen in Lindsey’s bridesmaids’ dresses, floral centerpieces, signs, and their cake!
A Note from the Bride:
Lindsey and Nick’s entire wedding day was such a triumph and we are so glad that we could make it happen for this sweet couple! And we’d like to finish with a note from Lindsey herself, “Hopefully [our wedding story] will encourage future brides that no matter how hard things may get, you will still have the best day!” We couldn’t agree more!
