Jenna & Nick’s Spring Meadow Wedding
It’s FINALLY that time of the year again! We’re beyond ecstatic to be back full swing in wedding season and today we’re showcasing our first wedding of 2021! Jenna and Nick originally planned on having their wedding at the estate in May of 2020, however we worked with them to plan out new date options and finally landed on May of 2021. This year turned out to be just as (if not even more) special for their big day as they celebrated their 10 year anniversary of dating back in March of 2021! Jenna and Nick first met during their freshman year of college, so it was amazing to witness them start this new chapter of their lives after a decade together!
The Wedding Day
Jenna started out her wedding day getting ready inside the Farmer Cottage alongside her bridesmaids. She had a beautiful and emotional first look with her father in the living room before taking a few bridal portraits around the cottage. Meanwhile, Nick and his groomsmen hung out in the White Stone Barn, tasting whisky and playing Backgammon together. Their photographer, Jaci Berkopec, did such an awesome job capturing the vintage speakeasy theme of the stone barn too!
Their ceremony took place on the front lawn, overlooking the grape arbor and the golden hills that had just began to bloom in the spring season. After the ceremony, their guests enjoyed cocktail hour outdoors with lawn games and refreshments. Jenna and Nick took this time to sneak out to the meadow to capture some couples portraits together. The spring wildflowers decorated the meadow so beautifully! Next, Jenna and Nick headed up to the house were they took a few more portraits along the stone wall, on the tree swing, and on the front porch of the main house.
Once they were finished with photos, they headed back into their reception to join their guests for dinner and dancing. Family and friends are very important to Jenna and Nick and we loved that they were determined to have their wedding day exactly as they originally planned, despite three reschedules. Everyone was so appreciative, emotional, and grateful to be there that it was clear just how strong their bond is with family and friends.
