Julie & Max’s Wedding Day
One thing we love so much about Julie and Max’s wedding day is that it was truly a hometown wedding! Julie grew up in Cazenovia, so she and Max decided to tie the knot at her local church, St. James! Before their ceremony, Julie decided to get ready at her mother’s house with all of her bridesmaids. Meanwhile Max stayed overnight in the Farmer Cottage with his groomsmen. After their ceremony, Julie and Max traveled all over town to take couples portraits before heading to Windridge Estate!
We loved that they wanted to have their cocktail hour on the lawn, because they really made use of all the space the estate has to offer! They added floating flowers into the fountain, creating such a romantic vibe for the space! After cocktail hour, they headed into their reception inside the Red Barn. The space was decorated with delicate florals and lavender-toned table settings and linens. Plus their menu cards even had a beautiful sketch of the Red Barn on it!
After their first dance, Julie and Max jumped onto the golf cart to head out and take some more portraits at sunset! The sky was such a picturesque shade of orange that night, making their photos look absolutely breathtaking! Then came an incredibly fun night of dancing with their guests to the band, Players Nouveau, who came all the way from NYC, followed by some bowling after the reception at Caz Sports Bar & Grill! We love that this shows just how versatile our venue can be, whether for a hometown wedding or a destination wedding!
