Kirsten & Ryan’s Romantic Garden Wedding
We absolutely love it when our couples really take advantage of having Windridge Estate for the whole weekend. Kirsten and Ryan did just that during their romantic garden inspired wedding weekend. They started off the weekend on Friday, with their rehearsal on the front lawn, followed by a dreamy rehearsal dinner under the grape arbor. Afterwards they headed to the White Stone Barn for their welcome party, where they greeted more guests who arrived for the weekend.
Getting Ready, First Look, & Garden Portraits
The next morning, both Kirsten and Ryan got ready inside the Farmer Cottage. Kirsten was joined by her mother and sister in the bridal suite, while Ryan had a whiskey toast with his family downstairs in the living room. For their first look, Ryan waited in anticipation for his bride on the front porch of the Farmer Cottage. They were so full of laughs and smiles as they saw each other for the first time! Afterwards, Kirsten and Ryan headed out to the gardens for some pre-ceremony couple’s portraits around the grape arbor, apple orchard, and the tree swing!
Ceremony & Newlywed Portraits
Kirsten and Ryan’s ceremony was held on the front lawn, overlooking our grand oak tree. Their florist, Spruce Ridge, did a wonderful job transforming our circular ceremony arbor into an elegant and romantic setup with blush and white florals and lots of greenery. After a beautiful ceremony, the newlyweds headed back up towards the main house for some “just married” photos together. They looked so wonderful and we loved their champagne cheers in front of the pool!
Cocktail Hour & Reception
After the ceremony, Kirsten and Ryan’s guests headed to the bluestone patio for cocktail hour and lawn games. Meanwhile inside, the Red Barn was transformed into a romantic and garden inspired reception. More blush and white florals decorated the round tables in addition to lots of greenery running along the rectangular tables. We loved the attention to detail that went into everything, and their photographer, Laura Rose, did an amazing job capturing the essence of the space, before heading out with the couple for some sunset photos.
Kirsten and Ryan mixed things up and had their first dance outside on the patio just as it was getting dark. It was so magical! After their main reception, the couple kept the party going with an afterparty complete with a food truck and ice cream cart!
The festivities didn’t end there though, as Kirsten and Ryan joined together with their guests once more with Sunday brunch inside the Red Barn. The entire weekend was just so full of positive and loving energy and we’re so grateful to have been able to host Kirsten and Ryan’s romantic wedding weekend!
