Dolo & Dan’s Fall Vintage Wedding
After touring almost 40 barns in upstate New York, Dolo and Dan found our venue and realized it was the perfect spot for their wedding! When their wedding day arrived, the weather was being quite unpredictable, but that didn’t dampen Dolores’s spirits one bit! She was just so excited to marry the love of her life! Dolo and Dan had such great vintage details all throughout their day, starting with their incredible wedding invitations! They had a custom painting of the estate created for their invites and it was truly stunning!
After getting ready in the Farmer Cottage, Dolores headed to her first look with Dan near the stone wall. It was such a beautiful moment to watch and they had the BEST timing. It started to rain right as Dan waited for Dolo, but then the sky miraculously cleared up for them!
For their ceremony, Dolo and Dan rented a white tent to set up on the lawn. It was beautiful and just so perfect for this somewhat rainy day! Inside the tent, their décor was so stunning! They had a mirrored wedding sign, fall-inspired floral accents, and vintage décor pieces tastefully arranged throughout. Their ceremony incorporated the mantilla tradition, where the bride and groom are wrapped together with a lace shawl. We also LOVED that they had their dog Kamir, the pomsky, join them during their ceremony! How cute! Then as they exited the tent, their guests tossed flower petals at them and it looked so magical!
At their cocktail hour, Dolo and Dan really embraced the speakeasy theme of our white stone barn with prohibition era news clippings and other vintage décor. Plus, they gave the VW photo bus a cool vintage and boho makeover with neat pieces like an old typewriter, radio, and macramé art. We absolutely loved seeing Dolo, Dan, and their guests break out all of the dance moves during their reception in the Red Barn and we thought it was so fun that they created a limbo “stick” out of dinner napkins! How fun!! Even after the reception came to an end, Dolo and Dan wanted to keep the party going, so they headed outside to an afterparty around the firepit, complete with s’mores and pizza! What an awesome end the an even more incredible day!
