Anne Burrell and Stuart Claxton celebrated their star-studded wedding at Windridge Estate in Cazenovia, New York on October 16, 2021. Anne is a celebrity chef and co-host of Worst Cooks in America on the Food Network, while Stuart works in ad sales at Univision.

The couple chose Cazenovia for their wedding as it was not only Anne’s hometown, but also where the couple was engaged.  Celebrity guests in attendance included Alex Guarnaschelli, Jeff Mauro, Marc Murphy, and “Jersey Shore” star Jenni Farley.

What They Wore

The bride wore a beautiful gown by Carolina Herrera which turned out to be the first dress she tried on. The groom and groomsmen sported black tuxedos by Ralph Lauren Purple Label and orange Nike high-tops.  The bridesmaids, including Anne’s sister and celebrity chef Rachael Ray wore coordinating burnt orange dresses.

The Ceremony

The couple and their guests did not let a rainy day dampen the celebration.  The bride arrived in a horse-drawn carriage and joined her guests for a tented ceremony on the beautiful grounds of Windridge Estate.  The guests were treated to an energized ceremony that perfectly reflected style of the fun-loving couple.

The Reception

The reception was celebrated in the Redbarn20, an expansive barn that is part of the Windridge Estate property.  The couple had chosen an autumnal theme for their wedding, and the tables were beautifully decorated with table scapes from Whistlestop Florist that included herbs, vegetables, and colorful leaves.  After the wedding, all of the produce used in the table scapes was donated to a local food bank.

As you might imagine, the guests enjoyed a culinary feast that was provided by Diamond Catering with a menu that Anne had personally developed over many months.  According to People Magazine, “The starter was a roasted cauliflower steak with cauliflower puree, crispy potato shoestrings with creme fraiche, and caviar. The pasta course was a goat cheese and pumpkin ravioli in a sage butter sauce, with frizzled brussels sprouts leaves, toasted pumpkin seeds, and pumpkin seed oil. For the entree, they chose a duo plate of braised short ribs with a celery root and parsnip puree, and herb and potato crusted halibut on a bed of spaghetti squash, with Tuscan kale and pistachio pesto.”

Burrell’s close friend Buddy Valastro, star of The Cake Boss delighted everyone with a gorgeous cake that was part zucchini-flavored, and part a delicious combination of olive oil, lemon and rosemary.Anne Burrell Wedding Cake

The couple had their first dance to “On Top of the World” by Imagine Dragons, which was the product of a lot of practice and some help from a Broadway choreographer.  The first dance was followed by a balloon drop to signify the start of the party.  The wedding planner was Megan Hiltbrand of MLH Events and Kerri Lynne Weddings captured the amazing images of the day.
